Securitor is a
Microsoft Dynamics CRM (MS CRM) 3rd party add-on
for MS CRM 3.0, 4.0 and now 2011 providing
industry standard
field-level encryption.
Clients who wish to use Securitor require fields to be
obscured from certain end-users, as well as
data stored within
these fields to be obscured from developers and database
administrators
with access to the database. This also provides
data security in the
event of theft
of the database or if there is
a requirement to provide your Microsoft Dynamics CRM
partner access to your database without exposing
sensitive data.
V206 Securitor provides industry standard encryption to
allow the client to meet security requirements when
capturing data through MS CRM.
Data is encrypted prior to being saved to the database.
This is achieved through MS CRM supported methods of
data input (i.e. whether through the web front-end, MS
CRM import routines or custom development that used the
SDK).
Once V206 Securitor has been installed, it is easy to
configure new entities and fields for encryption.
