Version206 VForms
generates and saves virtual web forms as 'VForm' records
within Microsoft Dynamics CRM. This allows for the same
standard MS CRM security mechanisms to be applies to
users allowed to create and publish forms accessible
from outside your organisation.
These can easily be published to a Version206 hosted web
site allowing for public access to your clients.

No direct public access to
your server or web site is required
and responses in the
form of .xml documents are imported back into your
system, integrated directly into your Microsoft Dynamics
CRM database in
the form of system or custom records.

Creating and publishing a VForm
couldn't be simpler.
Select the entity you wish to be created within MS CRM.
Next
specify certain form variables
to determine the
look and feel of your form. Specify form width, a header
image and welcome message. Should you wish to provide a
footer and email address as well, also fill in this
information.
Next,
select a list of fields you wish the users to populate
and arrange these fields by preference. Also specify
which field specify parameters (e.g. whether required,
read-only, max size, populated through the URL etc.)
Once satisfied with the look and feel of the fields,
simply publish to the web server
and point your customers to the newly created form. The
form is
immediately active and responses are ready to
feed back into your system. |
VForms
are mostly used for capturing new leads from a public
website or capturing campaign feedback, e.g.
registrations for an event.
No knowledge of HTML is required,
making this the ideal tool for allowing a MS CRM
end-user to
create and capture customer information within
minutes.
